Nearly SUO persons went out from Auckland and way-stations, and they arrived at the pretty course about noon. There was a large crowd of spectators assembled there from the surrounding districts. The arrangements made by the officers were very satisfactory. Mr Percival, the secretary was indefatigable in his endeavours tomake the meeting as successful as possible.
