In the House of Commons this evemnjr, the consideration of the Irish Land Bill was resumed. In the course of the debate, the Biarht Hon. W. E. Gladstone made a speech, m which he said the Government attached its fortunes to the Bill, and would strenuously oppose any amendments which might be propo-ed .iffeotmsr the principle-! of the measure as introduced.
