At the Resident Magistrate's Court today, Ellen Frost, Mary C'Kane, and Ellen Nolan appeared on remand, on the information of the late Superintendent Whi|;elaw, charging them with having ill-treated a' female paibient. The 'information was laid jitst previous to the appointment of the Tecent Rdyal ' Commission, but was adjourned to enable Commissioners to send in, their report :befofe r hearing the 'charged. ' TKe Bench was of opinion .there was not sufficient evidence of ill-treatment of patient, and i the" accused were discharged. . !
