THAMES CATTLE MARKET.

Messrs Banks and Co.'s Report. — At Parawai, on Thursday, fat cattle were again plentiful, chiefly composed of a, fine draft of prime oxen and heifers from Mr Douglas, of Tautanga. Thesale was well attended, and nice sized steers maintained late rates. Extra heavy weights declined slightly. Sheep were in full supply, and late rates were maintained. Mixed sexes brought from 14s to 15s 3d ; for draught colts £35 was offered, but being below the reserve, were withdrawn. Several weedy backs and unbroken ponies were sold at nominal rates, from 27s 6d to £3 2s 6d. Prices for best beef were 24s to 255 ; heavy weights, 22s 6d ; mutton, 2jd.
