The Hinemoa has been sent up to convey Lady Gordon to Wellington. Theie is a probability of a -water famine in Wellington, the water m the reservoir having attained the extraordinary low depth of 12ft. 9in. Lady Gordon will arrive at Auckland from Sydney on Tuesday. The Hinemoa leavew here on Sunday to convey her Ladyship to Wellington. Prospects of the West Coast railway (North Island) continues favourable. Th« Duke of Manchester Btarts on a tour through the Manawatu district tomorrow.
