Sale of Race Horses.
There was a large attendance at the sale of race-horses by Mr Buckland. Rawenata was purchased by Mr Gallagher for £95, Harkaway by Mr Hollywood for £60, Omega by Mr McGee for £20. A brown buggy mare brought £10. For Vortex the "bidding reached £190, but the reserve was £250 ; and for Miss Domett £60 was offered, but £200 was required.
