Dairy cows at cahing, at low \allies, £% >js to £j were the prices obtained. Fat cattle in full supply, and for piimc quality good prices were obtained S°° merino wethers from Napier were disposed of in sin ill lots at 5s each, no fat sheep penned. At the special horse sale held .-it Cambridge on Wednesday, 37 horses from Poverty Bay were entered, and 33 sold at the auction at prices varying from £to to £\7\ 7 for useful animals, and less money tor a few rooks. Several other horses were entered, and met with a ready sale, the natives making the competition brisk. Strong 1 young colts £8 to £u •and a medium draught maro £22. Also a pair ot active ploughmares£2o each. Mr J. S. Buckland reports that he held a clearing snle of stock, furniturp, implements, Sec, at the residence of Mr. Patrick Leslie, Wartle, on Thursday. There was a very large attendance of buyers; the bidding was spirited throughout, and good prices were realised for all the lots submitted.
