Wellington, Thursday.
The Clyde Hotel, Clyde Quay, was discovered on fire at 2 o'olook yesterday morning, and the building was completely gutted before the flames were got under. -Mrs. Burkd, the landlady, states that she was awakened by her bedroom being full of smoke, and on getting up found the fire .had a good hold on the kitchen. ; A ; ' small fire had baenlefj; \n the kitchen wpge, and it is. b'ejievedwas the origin of the fire,.
