Christchurch, Thursday.
At the Supreme Court yesterday, "Walter Pringle Gibson was indicted for the murder of William Kerrison, on December 20th last. Prisoner' was defended by Mr Holmes, and pleaded not guilty. Late at night Gibson* was acquitted of the murder of Kerrison on the grounds of insanity.
