Negotiations between the Ambassadors of the Powers and the Porte for the settlement of the Turko-Greek difficulty are now virtually concluded. It has transpired that the Porte has made a final offer to cede to Greece a greater extent pf territory in Thesally than was recently offered, but positively refused £o surrender Epirus or the Island of Crete, in addition to the territory in Theesaly. "the envoyß of the Powers have accordingly referred the Porte' s decision to their respective Governments for consideration.
