YESTERDAY'S SITTING.

Cambbidge, Last Night. The subdivision of Tapapa, No. 2a, in. the Waiti-Kuranui block was before the Land Court to-day. Mr Mackay appeared on behalf of the Ngatiterangi ; Mr McDonald for the Ngatiwetewete, part of the Ngatitekorehea, Ngatehere, andNgatipapa ; and Mr Ransfield for Ngatiteporchi. *Mr Mackay, on behalf of his client?, claimed one-third of the block. Hoera Te Maheraha objected to the granting of Mr Mackays application, on the ground that the Ngatiterangi had received their portion of the previous block. The list of the Ngatitekorehe and Ngatipapa tribes were read, and during the reading the natives present inclined to be noisy, some having to be forcibly ejected. A lengthy debate ensued, during which. Mr Mackay threatened to throw up the case if a stop was not put to the noise and obstruction. The Court thought that such cases Should be settled by mutual concession, and adjourned till to-rilorrow morning^
