The first day's races of the Victoria Racing Qlub's Autumn Meeting took place to-day at Fleminpton. The racing throughout the day was excellent. The following are the results of the two principal races s — The St. Leger Stakes, a sweepstakes of |^55 boiw. each, sft., with 300 added. For j^ 3 year old— colta, Bst, 101b«. ; fillies, Bst. 7U. The second horse to receive 50 soys. , and the third, 25 soys. out of the stake. One mile and three quarters and 132 yards. 109 subscribers. Mr W. A. Long'sbrc Grand FlaneuBpt .101b (Hailea) I Mr. W. Branch's brc Progress, Bst. 101b (St. Albans 2 These were the only two who started, and Grand Flaneur won easily in 3min, 18seca. The Ascot Vale Stakeß, a sweepstakes of 20 soys. each, sft., with 200 added. For 2 years old — coltß, 8M;. 101b. ; fillies, Bst. 7 lb. The winner of tho Maribyrong Plate or Nnrmnnhy Sfakes to carry 51b. extra ; of both these races, 101b. extra. Tho second hqr-e to reepive 50 soys., aud the third '2o snv<<., out of the ptake.
