Shepherd, the young- swell who robbed the pockets of his brother members of the Rowing Club, has been committed for trial for a most serious offenoe, and sen - tenced to eighteen weeks' imprisonment for minor ones. The stsibles belonging to White, coach proprietor at Bombay Settlement, were burned down on Sunday morning, when the harness, machinery, and a quantity of hay and chaff were destroyed. The building was insured.
