London, February 19. It is now further announced, in connection with the explanation made by the Russian Government regarding papers discovered by General Roberts at Cabul, that the Czar had ordered Gene al Kduffmann not to correspond, even in a formal manner, with the Ameer, Shere Ali.
Capetown, February 19. Telegrams from Natal announce that Sir Evelyn. Wood has left General Colley's camp at Ingoes, and is now returning to Pieter-t-Maritsburg, to expedite the despatch of further reinforcements to the front.
