Wellington, Last Night.
Mr Dick, Colonial Secretary, returned by the Rotoniahana. Grave charges have been formally made regarding the management of the Welllington Lunatic Asylum. The officers are accused, of cruelty and improprieties. The Government have decided to appoint a commission of inquiry, to consist of three persons quite outside the Civil service.
