R.M. COURT, TE AWAMUTU. Thursday, 9th December.— [Before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M.]

Police Cases. Williim Williams, of Kihikihi, blacksmith, was charged on the information of Constable Gillies with a breach of tho Stamp Act, 1872, by givinar an unstamped receipt for a •mm over £2. — Fined 10s; costs, 10b.— Hugh Kelly, of Rangiaohia, 'butcher, was also charged with a like offence. — Fined 10s ; costs, 7s. — Robert McCormick was charged on the information of Constable Gillies with a breach of the Rural Police Act, 1866, by furious riding in a public highway. — Fined £3 and costs, £4 6s.

Civil Oases. F. R. Foster v. Alfred S. Hill. —Mr GreBhatn for plaintiff. — This was a claim for £12 for debt.— The Court ordered the case to be adjourned to the 28th inst., and directed that personal service should be dispensed with. Innes v. Samuel Bright. — Mr Greaham, for plaintiff, applied that the ca3e might be heard in. Cambridge, as the defendant had on two occasions forwarded medical certificate of inability to appear at the Court at Te Awamutu. — The Court granted the application, and appointed to hear the case at Cambridge on 17th insfc. W. Slane v. F. Gordon.— Mr W. Mac gregor Hay for the plaintiff. — Defendant appeared in person and defended. — Judgment for plaintiff, £12 3s 6d, and co»ts, £a 7s. Sloane v. A. C. Elinsley and Wife. — Mr W. Maogregor Hay for plaintiff — Mr O'Neill (Whitaker and Sheehan) for defendants. — This was an action brought affdinst defendants for goods supplied to Mrs Elmsley before her marriage. — Judgment for plaintiff, £5 18s 6d ; costs, £2 19s.
