Auckland, Last Night. There is no sign of ins Governor yet.
Wellington, Last Night. The Divorce Court bat to-day. Six ctacrues of divorce were granted, but only one from Auckland— Dcnby v. Denby and Gilbert.
Sale of Shares in the Prospectors' Claim, Te Aroha. G-rahamstown Last Night. Fratcr Brothers have j uncompleted the sale of a half share in the Te Aroha Prospectors' claim, to-day, for £110, McSweeney being the seller, and Sear, Webb, and Wood being the purchasers. Tho same firm likewise sold a quarter share for £80, both being genuine.
Gisborne, Last Night. Rinue Ahunake, an intelligent chief in this district, in a letter to the Poverty Bay Herald, warns Europeans that Te Kooti ih invitinpr natives to vi^it him under pretence of eating them of their ailments. I But the real object Te Kooti has in view is to cause insurrection atnoug.st natives and Europeans.
Dunedin, Last Night. The first wool sale of nea«on was held to-day, when 1 29 bales and 47 bags "were catalogued. Greasy (cross-breds), 9',d to 1 1 Yd ; greasy (cross- merino), 10|jd to lid ; pieces, 4^dV> 7jd; scoured (cross-bred), BJd.
