In Bankruptcy. /// re J. J. Trethaway. — Mr O'Neill applied for an order of discharge. — Granted. In re Charles Kay. — Mr Hay made a similar application. — Granted. In re Angus Campbell. — Mr Hay made application for an order of discharge. — Granted. In wG 1 . B. Beere— Mr O'Neill applied for an order of discharge. — Order granted. Mr Hay applied for an order for costs out of the estate of C. Kay. — Granted.

Civil Cases. McCallum v. Legertwood.— Mr O'Neill for the defendant, — This was an adjourned case, and His Honor ruled that the Court had no jurisdiction. — Costs were given to defendant. One or two other unimportant civil cases were dealt with. Thompson v. Liihrs. — Claim, £50 15s, being value of piles alleged to have been supplied. — Mr Hay for the plaintiff^ and Mt O'Neill for the defendant.— The defence was that the piles had been supplied by one Mr MofHtt. — A. number of witnesses were examined, but great .-tress was laid upon an order for £40 •which the plaintiff Baid lie gave to Moffitt on the defendant When the order was presented it was found that it was stated thereon that the timber was the property of Moffitt.— Plaintiff nonsuited ; costs, £11 Is.
