Auckland, Last Night. Thk Show to-day was very successful, though the number of entries were not large, only G29, including Horticultural exhibits, being shown. A large number of Waikato people arrived to-day to be present at the Show to-morrow, when the Horse Entry Review will uUo take place at Ellerslie. Waikato was scarcely represented at all. Thoroughbred Stock.— Musket, Istprize;' Cap-a-pie, 2nd prize. Best colt foaled since August, 1877 : Fergusson's Blackcock, by Thunderbolt, Ist prize. Beat colt foaled since August, 1879: Buckland's Petrarch, by Queen Mab, Ist prizo. Best mare, any age, won by Buckland's Una ; Fergusson's Locket commended.
