Pantaloon. Hercules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and stands 15 J hands high, combines the beat of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a good horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1576, won the Grandstand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sees., carrying 8 st. 2 lbs., beating- 6 others. In the same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakts, 2 miles, in 4 mins. 4\ secy. , beating Fishhook and the Maori "Weed.
Hercules will travel on and after let October, calling at the undermentioned places : — Mondays— Leave Cambridge, calling at Ohaupo and Alexandra. Tuesdays— Te Awamutu and Kihikihi Wednesdays— Kihikihi Thursdays— Will call at Rotorangi on his return to Mr W. K. Carter's, Cambridge, where he remains the rest of the week. Farms visited on the road. Terms— £o each mare. Two or more as ai rangemont.
