Great Fire in Nevada.
About 10 o'clock on the morning of the 17th ult. a fire broke out in Eureka, Nevada. The alarm was sounded, and a dense volume of smoke was seen to issue, from the rear of Mrs Poplin's fruit ami vegetable store in Marine-street. In two miuiitr*) several wooden buildings in the immediate vicinity were enveloped in flames. The fire seemed io make unprecedented headway from the start. The wind wa» blow ing a gale from the southward until the flames had run their course. Pos-ibly 360 houses, many of them business establishments, were destroyed, also some of the finest private, residences in town.
