No. 19 Station' Buildings Contract.
Public Works Office, Auckland, 6th October, 1880. rpENDERS will be received at this X Office until noon of Monday, 25th October, 1880, for the erection of a Passenger Station, Platform, and other works at the "Lake Road Station," Kaipara- Waikato Railway. Plans, Specifications and conditions can be seen at this Office, and' at the Public WorUs Office, Hamilton. Tenders must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, . Auckland, and marked outside, "Tender for No. 19, Station Buildings Contract." The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. By' command. JAMES STEWART, District Engineer.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
To the Ratepayers, Kirikiriroa Highway District. YOU are hereby publicly notified that the Road Board Trustees intend to STOP the undermentioned ROADS in accordance with provision contained in 14 The Public Works Act, 1880," and by agreement with owners take other lands in exchange for the purpose of making new roads in lieu of those stopped, viz— Ist A road containing 2 acres, 1 rood, 29 perches, bounded on the North-west and terminating at the b6undary line of lots 35 and 36, the property of Mr Matthew Walsh, parish of Kirikiriroa. 2nd A road containing 1 acre, 1 rood, 9 perches, passing through lot 122, hospital reserve, and also 2 acres 17 perches, passing through lots 121 and 120, the property of Mr Nichol, parish of Komokorau. 3rd A road containing 2 acres, 1 rood 17 'perches, passing through lot 209, and also 1 acre 2 loods, through lot 217, the property of Mr Lovell, parish of Komokorau. TO CONTRACTORS.
mENDERS (endorsed Tender for Cut. JL ting) will be received by the undersigned on behalf of the Kirikiriroa Highway Board up to noon on Tuesday, the 2nd of November, For a Cutting required on the Hamil-ton-Taupiri road, near Eyre's farm. Mr Primrose will be on the ground to show the work at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the 27th inst. A deposit of 10 per cent, on the value of the contract must accompany each tender. JAS. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

YOU are publicly notified that the Road Board Trustees have resolved to stop two roads on the property of F. R. Claude, Esq., hereinunder described, viz :—: — 1. A road containing 1 acre, 2 roods, 15 perches, situated in the parish of Kirikiriroa, commencing at the northwesternmost corner of lot 215, bounded generally northeasterly by lines 640 and 1000 links respectively : Thence generally southwesterly by a public road, 132 links and by lines 868 and BG9 links respectively, thence northerly by a public road to commencing point 124 links or thereabouts. 2. A road containing 5 acres, 1 rood, 14 perches, more or less situated in the parish of Kirikiriroa commencing at a point distant from the southeastemmost angle of lot 223, 369 links, oounded southeasterly by a line 102 links ; thence southwesterly by a line 5382 links ; thence northeasterly by a public road 120 links ; thence northwesterly by a line to commencing point 5305 links or thereabouts. WAITOA HIGHWAY BOARD.
Tenders.
HHENDERS will be received up to X Noon of Saturday, the 30th inst., for Contracts Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. These comprise various descriptions of Road-m&king, Culverts, and Bridges. General conditions and specifications can be seen at Sandes and Co.'s, Hamiltou, from date to Friday, the 15th inst., at 5 pm.; at Momnsville Post-office, from Saturday, the 16th inst., to Saturday, the 23rd mat.; and at Missen's Te Aroha Hotel, Waihou, from Saturday, the 23rd, inst., to Friday, the 29th inst. Tenders to be addressed to the Chairman Waitoa Highway Board, Morrinsville, marked " Tender." Saturday's mail from Hamilton will not take letters in time for the meeting. Mr T. G.
