CAMBRIDGE JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the Club was held at the National Hotel on Monday night, at which there were present Messrs. Alwill, (in the chair), Asher, Moore, Isaacs and .Scott, (Hon. Sec). It was decided to hold the summer meeting on the 6th and 7th of January next, when prizes of the value of about £450 will be given away. The programme was drawn up, and will consist of the following events : — First Day — Maiden Race, Handicap Hurdle Race, Cambridge Cup, Flying Stakes, Maiden Steeplechase, Hack Selling Race ; Second Day — Maiden Hurdle Race, Publican's Purse, Ladies' Purse, Steeplechase, Maori Race, and Consolation Stakes.
