Road Closing. A public meeting of ratepayers wan held in the PuKenmu School-room on Friday Liht, re stopping roads, as advertised in the Waikato Tijik.s. The Chairman rood the advertisement from the Waikato Timsn, calling tho meeting. It was proposed, seconded, and carried that the roads, ds advertised on lut July, shoull be closed, the Act having been complied with in having duly prepared plans, &c, on view for a period of twelve weeks.

The trustees would suggest to the Traffic Manager that an inorcjiho of efficiency would bo brouirht about at Ohaupo station by making the Postmaster take duties of station -master, with a porter under him, whereas, at the pie^ent, he is both station-master and porter, and consequently neither office is duly performed as it might be.
