The Ball,

which came off in the Public Hall, and was a very successful affair. The decorations for the previous night still remained fresh and fair, and added a considerable oh arm to the enjoyment of the evening. The Cavalry Band was in attendance, and provided most excellent music, SergeantMa jor Fisher acting as M.C. About 40 or 50 couples were present, and dancing was kept up with spirit till an early hour on Saturday morning.
