HAMILTON AND WHATAWHATA ROAD. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, — Seeing a local in your paper today calling the attention of Hamilton trustees to these works, and, as one who wishes to see this a good road, setting aside all differences of opinion, I wish to point out to them the state of the road at peg 2^. 50c. The outlet drains require to be made double the width and much deeper, there being a fall of a foot in about two chains, which is not at present utilized. The road with the present drainage can never ho passable. —l am, &c, A Batefayer. Hamilton, October 7> 1880.
