THE RAGLAN ROAD.

The construction of the only link wanting to complete the scheme of a practicable carriage road from Waikato to the seaside at Raglan, namely, the Whatawhata bridge will be commenced immediately. The constactors, Messrs McLean and Sons have all the timber on the ground Avith the exception of th^, piles, which will also be obtained before long. The bridge will be a very extensive structure, and will be elevated 15 feet above high water mark so that little danger need be apprehended from floods, Mr Hope will supervise the works for the Government.
