Naval Demonstration. London, September 4.

All the Powers have assembled their squadrons in the Mediterranean for a naval demonstration against Turkey. England and Enssia proposed to force Hellespont and menace Constantinople, but Germany objected. The German Press severely criticises Gambetta's violent tone, and says that if persisted in it will endanger the peace of Europe.
