Thomas Hay was .summoned for slaughtering 1 cattle without a license, and was' fined 20s ancl £2 10s costs. His Worship remarking that he made the sentence light, believing- it to be more stupid negligence than actual misdemeanor.

He^cup ; claim, £6 I<, and costs £3 Is, Djtoh v. Potter ; d,nrn, £l % and £1 5.9 Del. Keesios: v. Tbow^son a7id Ozviham ; Mr Beetle for plaintiff, and Mr Gre^lmm. foy defendants. The clahu was foy the non-tloJivery of a box of tobacco in Febraary last. Many witnesses were oxamined on both sides. His Worship gave verdict for plaintiff. Claim, £10 2-3 6d, and costs £i Bs.
