The War in Afghanistan.
According to the latest news from Afghanistan there is great excitement amongst the tribes in South Kandahar at the retreat of the British before Ayoub Khan. Desultory fighting is proceeding at the British outposts with, detached bodies of the eneinys troops.
London, July 30. Gen. Phayre's troops, which has reached Chamman Choki from the Bolan Pass, on their way to Kandahar, are unable to advance until strongly reinforced, owing to the disturbed state os the country.
