The former continued their innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost six wickets for 220 runs. , (Jrouh was caught, after making 61. Spofforth was also caught, after putting together 44 runs. BlaoLham was not out for 40. Owing to the inclemency of the weather the following day, the play was stopped, and the match was drawn in favour or the Australiaus.

The porte in replying to the circular note of the European Powers embodying the decisions of the Berlin Conference on the Montenegrin and Greek frontier questions, proposes that Turkey should be allowed to retain Larissa, Janina, and Metzovo, which the Conference decided should be included in the district to the south of those towns to be ceded by Turkey for the rectification of the Greek frontier.
