CAMBRIDGE R.M. COURT. Friday, July 16th. [Before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M.]
Te Rai and Pitiroi, ©f the Ngatiraukaus, were charged with fighting 1 and creating a disturbance in the public st'-eets ou Friday, the 9th iust. Te Hai waa fined £ 2 and Pitiroi £1, with costs of £1 2s each. Kereham, Oporo, and Ketui were also charged with the same offence, and were each fined Avith josts £1 2s Gd each. A warrant was issued for Ketua who did not appear.
Civil Cases. Camp v. Bruuton, claim £2 los 6d. Judgment for plaintiff with costs £ I 6s Gd. beveral cases set down for hearing -vrero arranged out of Court.
Our New Zealand representatives cannot complain that they are badly treated in the Melbourne Cup. Mata has Bst 21b, or lolb under weight for age ; Foul Play, 7st 91b, or 251b under weight for age ; and Camballo, 7st 31b, or 281b under wight for age.
