Mutiny of Native Troops. Calcutta, July 17.
News comes to hand from Afghanistan that the Native Infantry under Shere Ali, ruler of Kandahrr, recently deserted near Gorishk, where they had been despatched to oppo&e the advance of Ayoub Khan. A force of British troop, operating with Saere Ali, pursued and routed them, and recovered the guns they had taken. It is understood that the position of affairs renders it necessary for the British troops to remain in Kandahar till Shere Ali's position is secure.
