TE AWAMUTU.

A.T a Vestry meeting held at the Parsonage on Friday last, a letter was reoeived from the Rev. Robert Burrows, the secretary for the Church Mission Society : it coutained an. application for £25, for rent of the premises lately held on lease by the "Rev. L. 0. Brady, and now held on sufferance by the Rev. E. Phillips. The Vestry fully discussed the matter in. all its bearing-* ; and the fact that the Society is now in receipt of considerably increased rents from the residue of its Te Awamutu property was duly weighed It was resolved that Mr Burrows be respectfully informed that there are no fundsin hand with which to meet his application. — [Own.
