A CORRECTION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I wish to correct a statement in your notice of the Bth June, regarding the fire at Hamilton East on the 20th January last, on the premises of Mr Swarm, in which you state "Mr Swarm was then a heavy loser." I beg to inform you that it was I who was the heavy loser at that time", as ifc was my money that paid for the machinery and most of the stock then lost, and out of which I got only a small portion. — I am, &c, D.
