The bad weather experienced since Saturday was not without scientific warning. The, following telegraphic forecasts received from Commander Edwin, R.jS"., by Mr Herbert Logic have been kindly supplied to us by that gentleman :: — ■ Wellington, Saturday, 11 a.m. Expect bad weather any direction betweei. north east aud north wes>t ; further fall gl.ns, every indication heavy rain after 12 hour?. —Signed, R.
