IN compliance with a resolution passed at a sitting of the Hamilton Borough Council, on the 29th instant, I hereby convene a Public Meeting of the Ratepayers to be held at the Council Chambers, Hamilton, on WEDNESDAY, the 6th of July next, at 7 o'clock in the evening. Business : To consider the selection of medium for the Borough Advertising, as set forth in the following tenders received by the Council, viz. :—: — Per inch. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
The Tamahere Highway District Board have resolved, in accordance with provision contained in sections 92,93 & 94 "Public Works Act, 1876" to stop the roads undermentioned viz : — No 1. A road running through the property of the Piako Land Association, bounded easterly by lots 91, 92, 93, 94, 95. Tauwhai'e containing 28 acre 3 2 roods 19 perches more or less. No. 2. A road through the property of Mr Patrick Leslie, containing 30 acres 2 roods 22 perches and of the late John Crawford, containing 5 acres 2 perches adjoining sections 51, 52, 53, 58, 59, 63, 57, 55, 54 Tamahere. No. 3. A road through the property of Hakiriwhi Te Purewa, through section 71, containing 3 acres 1 rood 16 perches. No 4. A road through the property of Mr Patrick Leslie, section 42, containing 2 acres 2 roods 6 perches; and through the property of Mr H. W. Tinne, sections 43 and 44, containing 8 acres 3 roods 24 perches. No. 5. A road through the property of Mr Browne "Wood, bounded southerly by sections 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, containing 9 acrts 2 roods 35 perches. No. 6. a road between sections 45, 69, and 69, 82 on the properly of Messrs. Runciman and Rhodes, containing 10 acres 2 roods 38 perches. A Plan and description of the above may be seen at the residence of the Secretary, Jas. McPherson,Kirikiroa, for twelve weeks from date.

THE animal meeting of the Ratepayers of the above named district will be held in the Town Board Office, Cambridge, on Wednesday, 7th July, at 3 p.m. Business : To receive the report and balance sheet of the outgoing Trustees, and to elect Trustees, Fence Viewers and Auditors for the ensuing year.
