THE TWO POUND LOAF.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Purchasing a two pound loaf in Hamilton to-day I had the curiosity to weigh it and found it just 2 oz. short weight. I forbear to mention the name of the baker. Considering the low price of flour and the high price paid for the loaf is it not too bad ? — I am, &c, Pno Bono Pubuco. 7th June 1880.
