HORSE ACCIDENT.
On Thursday evening-, about six o'clock, while Mr Brown's express waggon was proceeding from Cambridge to the racecourse at F.mthams, find when near th° residence gf Col. Lyon, one of threo horsemen who were coming tho opposite direction rode into it, breaking the horse's log, the rider beiii# thrown several v.iivls, but fox tunatelv escaping unhurt. No damage was sustfiiucd by the vehicle or the driver. Tho injured hor-e h.id to be shot. The horsemon whose name-*, we do not know, woie riding along 1 at a leckless pace and it is a mercy that the results were not more seiious.
