IN accordance with the provisions of the 28th section of "The Registra*tion of Electors Act. 1879," I hereby give notice that the undermentioned places are appointed to be offices at which the Electoral Rolls of the above electoral districts are open for inspection, between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and 2 o'clock p.m. : — Waikato. Borough of Hamilton IT is hereby Publicly notified in pursuance of " The Rating Act, 1876," and " The Municipal Corporations Aot, 1876," that the Hamilton Borough Council intend, on TUESDAY, the 18th instant, to levy a General Rate of One Shilling in the £, upon the annual value of all rateable property within the Borough for the year, Ist April, 1880, to the 31st March, 1881, payable in one sum on the Ist August, 1880 ; and that the Rate Book and Estimates of Expenditure are now open for inspection at the Council Chambers. Meetings. Public Notification. nPHE Ordinary Meeting of the Waikato JL Council advertised in the Waikato Times of Thur&day, April 22, to be held on Friday, the 7th May next, is postponed until Friday, the 14th day of May, at which meeting a proposal to stop certain roads in Taotaoroa and Kirikiriroa will be considered and decided upon, particulars of which have been duly advertised. Rangiriri Outlying District. WAIKATO COUNTY. Public Notification. AT a Meeting of the Waikato County Counoil to be held on Friday, the 14th inst., it is intended to make a Rate of one shilling in the £ on the rateable value of all lands within the above district, to be payable in one sum on Ist August, 1880, to the clerk, at Hamilton East, where tho rate-book will be open for inspection after the rate has been struck.
