Conditions :

Three to start or no race Entrance for Handicap Races, Nos. 3, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, with subscriptions to the funds of 10s 6d, colors, and all performances for the last two years must be forwarded to the secretary, Mr J. T. Camp, on Monday, May 10th, 1880, before 10 p.m. ; all other events will close on the ground, at 12 o'clock sharp. The decision of the Committee will be final. Maiden Plate, of 15 soys. For all horses, three years old and upwards, that have never won a public stake exceeding 10 soys. Distance, l£ miles. Weight for age. Entrance", 20s. Second horse save his stake. Handicap Huedle Race, of 20 soys, with a sweep of I soy each for starters 5 amount accruing from sweep to go to second horse. Distance 2 miles, over eight flights of hurdles 3 feet 6 inches. Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 20s. Te Awamutu Cup Handicap, of 40 soys., with a sweep of 1 soy. each for starters ; amount accruing from sweep to go to second horse. Distance, 2 miles. Nomination, 205. ; acceptance, 30s. Selling Hack Race, of 10 soys. Distance, 1 mile. Weight, lOst. Winner to be sold for £15 ; surplus if any, to be divided between the funds and second horse. Entrance, 10b. Post entries. Publicans' Pubse Handicap, of 25 soys., with a sweep of 1 soy. each for stavters ; amount accruing from sweep to go to second horse. Distance 1^ miles. Nomination, 15u. ; acceptance, 15s. Handicap to appear immediately after the Cup is decided. Acceptances to close at 2.30 p.m. Ladies' Pubse, of 20 soys. For horses three years old and upwards. Distance 1^ miles. Welter weight for age. Entrance, 20s. Consolation Handicap, of 10 boys. For all horses beaten at the meeting. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, 65. ; acceptance, 10s. CONDITIONS. The V.R.C. rules will be strictly adhered to. All disputes arising in connection with the racing to be settled by the stewards, whose decision shall be final. Nominations for Hurdles, Cup, and Publicans' Purse to be sent in to the Secretary not lat-r than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, the 12th May. Weights to appear in Waikato Times and N.Z.
