Messrs. Williams Howard Smith and ■^ons, owners of a large fleet of steamers tradiug- between Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia, contemplate having their boats fitted with refrigerating machinery, for the purpose of carrying (shipments of meat from Queensland to be transhipped at Sydney to the Orient line.
