New Ministry.— Further Appointments. London, April 27. The following additional appointments in the new Ministry have been announced : — Sir,; William Vernon Harcourfo Bai't.j will become Secretary of State for the Home Department. The Duke of Argyle fills the position of Lord President of the Council. Mr G-. J. Goschen and Lord Eoseberry we c offei'ed, but declined portfolios in the New Ministry.
Radicals Claiming Portfolios. London, April 27. Mr Gladstone experiences a difficulty in formation of the new Ministry, owing to some prominent Radicals having claimed portfolios. ;
