This charming little operatta was repeated on Thursday evening- to a good house at Le Quesne's H all Hamilton East. The entertainment opened with the oveiture to Poet and Peasant, violin and piano, which brought foiward Mr. Hewett's wonderful execution on the violin, and was loudly applauded. Mrs Hewett accompanj'iug in a very artibtic manner. In her most astonishing- jeats of clair voyance, Mrs Hewett excelled, and blind fold told the value of coins, and their dates, the number of watches etc, in a wondei-fully accurate way. Mr. Hewett announced that he purposes on Tuesday evening n^xt at Le Quesne's Hall exposing the my&tery of second sight, and as he "may be thoroughly depended on to keep his word we anticipate a crowd ou . the ocassion. Last night and to night, Mr. and Mrs. Hewett play at Cambridge, returning to Hamilton for a grand farewell entertainment on Tuesday, when an entire change of programme will take place. We advise all who have not heard the Hewetts not to miss attending on Tuesday night.

Pastor Chiniquy and RevFatherLarkiu recently travelled to Invercirgill in the same train. There was a crowd roady to receive the pastor at the railway station, but Father Larkin getting out first was mistaken for Chiniquy.
