The Queensland Loan. London, April 2.
London, April A Queensland loan of £3,000,000 at 4 per cent, has been announced, but only £2,000,000 will be issued at present.
The Bank of England Reserve. The Bank of England weekly return shows the total reserve in notes and bullion to be £16,600,000, being over one million less than last week.
Sir Julius Vogel Defeated for Falmouth. The election for Falmouth took place to-day. Sir Julius Vogel was a candidate, but was rejected.
