TUHIKARAMEA HIGHWA Y DISTSICT.
In order to enable this district to take charge of roads leading to the railway station used by settlers of the district, a proposal has been made to alter the boundary line between this district and and that of the Hamilton Highway Diatrict adjoining. This has been done, and the new Tuhikaramea District will be as folio ws : — All that land bounded towards the north by the middle of the road which forms the southern boundaries of allot* ments Nos. 18, 20, 20a, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26, Parish ©f Tubikarainea ; th°nce, towards the north-east, by the middle of the road which forms the south-western boundarief of allotments Nos. 45, 46, 47, 48, 61, 52, 63, and 55, Parish of Tuhikaramea; towards the west, by the middle of the road which forms the east* era boundaries of allotment No. 65 aforesaid ; allotments Nos. 54, 66, and 67 ; thence, by allotments Nos. 86, 85, 84, 83, and 82, Parish of Tuhikaramea, to the middle of the road. Again, towards the middle of the road which forms the southern boundaries of allotments Nos. 163, 162, 166, 97, and part of 96, Parish of Pukete, to a point in line with the southern boundary of allqtment No. 19 ; thence, to and by that allotment and allotment 364, Parish of Te Papa, and the production of the southern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment to the railway line. Towards the east, by the railway line to the northern boundary of allotment No. 317, Parish of Ngaroto. Towards the south, by paid allotment No. 317, and allotment No. 333. Again, tewards the east, by allotment No. 333 aforesaid, allotment Nos 334, 335, 336, 337, 335, 339, and 340, Parish of Ngaroto. Again, towards the south, by allotments Nos. 381 and 382, a road, allotments Nos. 358 and 119, Parish of Ngaroto, to Heather's Creek, Mangaotama. Thence, along the left bank of that creek to the "Waipa Biver, and towards the west by the right bank of the Waipa River to the middle of the road which forms the southern boundary of allotment No. 18 aforesaid, at the starting point. The 24th inst. has been appointed the day, and the School-house, Ngahinipouri, the place for the first meeting of ratepayers for the election of trustees for the newlycreated district.
