At second distance Betrayer was leading Cambello coming up hard, and after a splendid race forged gradually ah^ad, winning by three-quarters of a length. Flting States of 3 soys. each, 60 soys. added ; six furlongs. Mata ... ... ... ... 1 Le Loup ... ... ... 2 Al*o started, Betrayer, Sir Modrid, Hilarious, The Governor, and Foul Hay. On Dit was scratched. Betting, 3tol on Mata. Mata had the best of the start. Le Loup came up at first turn, and Mata also slight lead. Turning into the straight both horses ran neck and neck until within twenty yards of the winning post, when Mata forged ahead, and landed winner by half a neck. Time, lmin. Ujsecs. Consolation.
