We cousidcr great credit is due to the spirited proprietor, Mr. Jackson, for the perse%erance di&played in ovurcominy the m.my difficultly which he had to encounter on this his first trip. He expresses entire satisfaction with the road, the principal impediment in the trip being the crossing the Wiapa ri\cr on the punt. After waiting about an hour for refreshment, the Alabama again started on her return to Hamilton, accompanied by twelve ladies and gentlemen, inhabitants of Raglan, who, each and all expressed their entire satisfaction and admiration of the skill displayed by the excellent driver, reminding some of them of the palmy dajs of the "Highflyer" in olden times. We wish every success to the Alabama.— [A Correspondent.] Raglan, March 2nd.
