KIHIKIHI, Yesterday.
TE KOOTI AND REWI. Te Kooti was at Puniu on Friday and Saturday visiting Rewi. He was to return to-day to Te Kuiti.
THE MURIMUTU EMBROGLIO. A native arrived at Rewi's place from Major Topia Tiiroa, of Upper Wanganui, to say that shots had been exchanged between ' Jus people and Major Kemps men over the Murimutu land dispute, and asking Rewi what they were to do. Rewi advised them to settle matters quietly, and on no account to fight.
