NGARUAWAHIA, Yesterday.
THE LATE DRjWNING CASE. An inquest whs held before Dr. Bea^e, Col oner, on Saturday, on the body of the man Singleton, which was recovered at Taupiri. A verdict; of "Death by Mrnwning " was returned. Th 9 Rev. William Oalder arrived hsre yesterday morning to perform the burial service ; but it had been found impossible to retain the body, and it was committed to the grave shortly alter midnight on Saturday-Sunday night.
